Open a payslip and fill in your details — name, salary, NI number, whatever.
Press F12 (or right-click → Inspect) to open developer tools, then click the Network tab.
Filter by Fetch / XHR, then click Download free preview to generate.
Watch the requests. You will see zero requests carrying your personal data to payslipmaker.uk. Your figures stay on your device.
Your salary data, uploaded: 0 bytes — and it stays zero.
The document generator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing from the form — not your name, not your NI number, not a single figure — is transmitted to our servers during generation.
If you choose to pay, the payment step (Razorpay or PayPal) sends the amount alone — never your financial details, never your document content. We never collect your financial data: the card goes to the payment provider, not us.
WHY WE EXIST
Most “free” document tools pay for themselves by collecting what you type — an NI number, a sort code, a take-home figure. That “free” was never sustainable; it was just what got built. payslipmaker.uk exists because someone had to build the version that doesn’t. Documents run on your device. Nothing reaches us. We charge because that’s how we don’t sell you — we can’t sell what we never receive.
